My Biggest Little Wonder

My biggest little wonder is not so little anymore.  She made the shift to double digits three weeks ago.  I'm still trying to figure out how ten years passed by so fast.  I only pray that the next ten will tarry a little longer, although I've heard they go even more quickly. We love birthdays around here.  We love making our kids feel celebrated on their special day.  Of course, Landry's tenth was no exception.  And she was doubly blessed because her Daddy was here to make it even more special. We started by leaving balloons all over her bedroom floor and streamers on her door.  I also decorated  her mirrors. I printed out this precious little sign I found on Pinterest, pictures from her birth and every birthday she has had since, and wrote her a letter expressing 10 things we love about her. Epic Eve

When it comes to New Year's Eve, there are two classes of people: Those who go out and those who stay in.  I am definitely part of the "STAY IN TEAM". It's not that I don't like dressing up or being with people or having a good time.  I'm not typically a hermit. It's just that I HATE being cold!  I'm serious.  The very thought of putting on a gold sparkly dress and heels in temperatures below 50, sends a chill down my spine.  I just. can't. do. it.  So, instead I put on my favorite fleece footsies and party hard with my kiddos, at home.  It's pure bliss, I tell you. This year, I allowed Lan to invite her bestie to celebrate with us.  So the five of us all stocked up on supplies from Dollar Tree and then headed home to get the party started.  I saw an idea on Pinterest a while ago, and decided it was the perfect night to pull it out of the archives.
