Sum...Sum...Summertime, Week 3

If it's possible, week 3 went even faster than week 2.  That's because it was  CAMP WEEEEEEEK!!!! Y'all, I love everything about camp week.  Cory was a youth pastor for years, and I always joked that being a youth pastor's wife was a good excuse for me to go to camp even as a "grown up"  Admittedly, kids' camp requires a bit more energy and responsibility than youth camp.  But I am always up for a good challenge!  Having the opportunity to attend the camp with my own daughter is icing on the cake! Sum...Sum...Summertime, Week 2

If you missed week one, or the "prequel" you can find them here and here . It's been quite the summer already, and it seems to be FLYING by!!! Week 2, was all about VBS, swim lessons, and ear infections.  Yes, you read that right.  No matter how well I plan things out, sometimes life throws us a curve ball. We started the week out with our church family, like usual.  And usually at least one kid ends up coming home with us.  This time, it was a sweet little girl who adores and looks up to Landry.  So, naturally they put their swimsuits and goggles on, and filled the bathtub to the brim with bubbles!  They also, stayed up WAY too late, in my bed, watching Barbie Dreamhouse. For breakfast, I gave them a smorgasbord of breakfast items, and told them to make their own creations.  They needed energy, because Monday was the first day of VBS!!!  (Eli's straight face) Our kids attended a Vacation Bible School at a Local Church....
